Infection and Immunisation Surveillance

AngelTrend® IIS is a compter based data recording, trend analysis and reporting system for infection and immunisation surveillance in residential care environments. AngelTrend® IIS is based on the newest Infection Control Guide for long term care facilities issued by the Department of Health and Ageing. It is designed to capture all relevant resident information and data related to Infections and Immunisation in a residential aged care setting.

The system features drop-down menus for a number of criteria such as provisional diagnosis, case-finding method, possible contributing factors and antimicrobial agents used. It also serves as an audit tool/checklist for the monitoring of resident information and vaccination records as required by the guidelines.

This user friendly, easy to operate system will automatically generate reports, trend analysis and graphs as recommended by the guide. Trend analysis for infections and immunisation histories are available for the residential aged care facility as a whole as well as for individual residents.

AngelTrend® IIS can link into AngelTrend® CI, the Continuous Improvement trend analysis system to record and follow up corrective actions if required. This will ensure that issues identified through the infection control surveillance module will generate continuous improvement activities in one simple step.

The continuous improvement loop can be completed!
